Not all of us are made for running nor do we always have the time to train for a marathon. Walking to raise funds for the Trust is a fantastic way to fundraise whilst getting active in the outdoors!

Laura Middlemiss, a carer with Home Counties Carers based in Guildford, is going to do just that – she will be walking the North Downs Way from Guildford to Canterbury with her son Freddie, beginning on March 18th for 9 days in support of Contented Dementia Trust. They will walk approximately 118 miles during this time which is equivalent to 4½ marathons.

So far with a total of 8 donations on their Just Giving page Laura and her son have raised £170 of their £500 target. Please show Laura and Freddie your support by visiting their Just Giving page and making a donation: http://bit.ly/1LJo4N7
