Belated thanks go to fundraisers Trev and Nicky Coleman who valiantly cycled from Paris to Geneva with discover adventure last year. Their 6 day challenge linked the two classic cities of Paris and Geneva, crossing the border with a fabulous climb in the beautiful Jura Mountains. The route took them south-east from Paris, crossing rolling chalk hills, quiet woodland and rural plateaux. The landscape was dotted with small medieval towns and Romanesque churches as they cycled through the famous vineyard region of Burgundy. Skirting Dijon, they headed to the Roman spa town of Lons-le-saunier, at the foot of the Jura. Their legs obviously felt well-prepared as they tackled the hair-pin bends of the Col de la Faucille (1232m), their gateway into Switzerland and the toughest part of the challenge. The challenge finally finished beside the lake in beautiful Geneva.

The result of this fundraising effort was a whopping £993.71 including Gift Aid for the Contented dementia Trust. Thank you Nicky & Trev we are very grateful to you.
